The Youngest Skier In Our Family

Let me introduce you to the youngest skier in our family. This is Bethany and this is her first skiing trip to Lake Tahoe. She will be three in April. She looks like she is a pro. Her grandmother, that's me, doesn't even know how to ski and look at her. Wow!! I'm impressed, Bethany.

I think she's showing off now, don't you.

She is the youngest in her family. She has two brothers ages 17 and 15 and a sister who is 12.

This is Bethany's big sister, Hannah who loves watching over Bethany and play with her. They are very close.

Bethany is a unique child and she is being taught at a early age to love the bible and the word of God. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so I know these photos will speak volumns.

This was taken last Easter in church with Bethany holding her hymnal.

She just loves to sit and look through the Bible. She does this all the time.

Isn't this just too cute! I hope she continues her interest as she grows older. She will if her mom has anything to say about it.

Hey Dianne, I popped over here from another blog. I love the photos of your littlest skier. She is precious! I am a Nana of 4 myself and love my grandbabies so much. I enjoyed your blog and plan on coming back.

Have a great night,
In Him,
Beth

Oh, my goodness, she looks like a doll on skis! She's braver than me, for sure. You couldn't get me on skis, or skates, or anything like that. And ski slopes? Shudder!!! (I'm only a little afraid of heights, but terrified of anything steep and slippery.)

BTW, yes, you can freeze bananas. Some people do it with the peel on, but I prefer to peel them. I mash 2 or 3 per bag and label them for banana bread, and cut others up in chunks to freeze for smoothies. (For the chunks, spray a big plate with PAM and lay out the chunks, then freeze them. After they are a little hard, put them in a baggie. You can just take out what you need.)
As far as fattening things in the house, next time you make banana bread, cut it in half and put one half in the freezer, LOL!
Yep, I love my freezer...

Welcome, Beth. I'm so glad that you stopped by for a visit. We have 16 grandchildren and they are all precious. I will check out our site too and hope to get a view of your grandbabies as well. I hope to hear from you again.

Blessings to you,

Dianne

Thank you, Elizabeth for your sweet comment. Bethany's mom homeschools all her children and her main focus besides seeing to her children's education is that they all learn to love the Lord. We are extremely blessed.

Hugs,
Dianne

Clare,

I'm with you. I value my life too much to get on a pair of skiis let alone slide down a mountain side.

Thanks for letting me know about all the ways that I can use my ripe bananas.

I like my freezer too! But its always good to learn how to put it to even better use.

Blessings,
Dianne

Thank you, Miriam. We are kind of proud of her and we do think she is special but then what grandmother doesn't think her grandchildren are the best there is.

I especially like the one with her in the basket, too, Terri! She does this kind of stuff all the time. Just too funny!

Hey, Tina, so good to hear from you. We are doing well. Still finding it hard to post and get things done but I do the best I can so I understand why you need to slow down for awhile. I'm thrilled that you stopped by. Hope you stay in touch.

Love,
Dianne
