I've been Tagged!

I've been away from blogging for about a week and I've been tagged in that time by Tracy to tell you a few things about myself. Sorry for the delay in posting, Tracy.

Some facts about me!

1. The rules of the game get posted at the beginning.
2. Each player answers the questions about themselves.
3. At the end of the post, the player tags 5 people and posts their name, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know they've been tagged and asking them to read your blog.

****What was I doing 10 years ago?:
My husband had his own construction business which he had owned for 25 years and he was retiring. We were a General Contractor doing Commercial and Industrial type construction. I worked in the business as the Bookkeeper and Business Manager. We had decided to move south when my husband retired and we were in the process of closing our business. We were incorporated and thus had to file with the state to close our business. There wasn't much of a market for a Construction Business and couldn't manage to sell it. so we shut it down. Also ten years ago, my father had died so we were in the middle of fixing up his house in order to sell it. We were also planning to have an Auction for our business and were trying to inventory everything to get ready for that. I was planning yard sales to get rid of things from our house that we didn't want to move. I was also doing some painting in our house in order to sell it and envolved in planning a move, hiring a moving company, etc. It was a very busy time for us.

Hello Dianne - thank you for tagging me - I am flattered you would want to know more about me - lol!
I have decided not to enter as ten years ago my life was very sad and I don't want to depress everyone!

My Dad had just died and my husband's dear grand-father had just passed too. I had lost two babies - each at 17 weeks of pregnancy and my husband had been stabbed in an attempted street mugging. I could not believe so much bad stuff was happening and I often wept during my prayer time.

I just wanted you to know so you will understand that I am not being horrid but some things are probably best left where they are - lol!

Much love,
Lynn.

Thank you, Poppy Black for your sweet comment and as for the Little Pine picture and its saying. I got it at Allposters.com. I get most of my pictures there. It takes a little time thought to peruse though the bunch of them. I get most of my stuff under the catagory of Decorative Art and then the Sub-catagory of Country something or other, I can't think of it. I'll go look and make another comment.

Lynn, I can more than understand why you wouldn't want to dig up those days. Bless your heart, that is a lot for one person to have to deal with all at the same time. Wish I had known you then so I could have been a prayer buddy to hold you up to our Lord during that very sad time. Thanks for telling me, it makes me feel closer to you.

With much love,
Dianne

Stephanie, Thanks for visiting and commenting. Yes I have lived in a number of places and as most people, I do have stories to tell from each of those places. Someday, that might be a subject for a blog or two.

Blessings,

Dianne
